There is a common inhabitant in almost all houses of the world which are ants. It is not a very good experience to see ants crawling on the cupboards, in the closet where your food stuffs are kept. While they do not create any direct nuisance, but still are pests and need be eradicated from entering and staying in the house specially the kitchen. If the opening is such that cannot be sealed, simply apply cinnamon powder or borax powder there and the ants’ entry will get restricted.

When the ants will find that they are not allowed to go close to the items they want to, they will gradually stop entering the kitchen as well.
